Abigail Rai is a Cartoonist and Illustrator thematically inspired by traditional South Asian/Nepali narrative art forms and 20th-century comics. She is an alumni of It’s Nice That’s Ones to Watch (2025).  And has worked with clients such as Adobe, Boutique Kaotique, Bitz Magazine and Deltic band.

Abigail’s Practice spans comics and illustration with notable projects including,  DIANA,  The Wandering World Tarot and THE DEVOURER. An ongoing wordless comic highlighting the relationship between human feeling and the wilderness. Through a tender, kinetic lens she explores her silent protagonists who embody strangeness, transformation and resilience.
